KeymasterThis is the module’s ice-breaker and its running chart. Complete the K-W-L items in a post of your own, then come back after each lesson to add the L.
K, Know. What do you already know about: designing for multiple learning participation scenarios; aligning learning outcomes, methods, and assessments in a non-face-to-face modality; inclusive design pedagogical strategies (such as UDL, TPACK, SAMR)?
W, Want to learn. What do you want to learn in this module related to: creating equivalent and inclusive learning activities in the HyFlex learning approach; ensuring alignment in HyFlex learning scenarios design; selecting and applying technology using pedagogical frameworks (UDL, TPACK, SAMR) in the HyFlex learning approach; developing inclusive assessments and feedback in the HyFlex learning approach?
L, Learned. After completing each lesson, return to this chart and write what you have learned. This will help you track your growth and consolidate your understanding. Reply to your own post to add each L, so the chart grows in one place.
Read two or three colleagues’ K and W before you write yours; you will find you are on the same path.
How to reply so that it is useful
Read at least one other post before you write your own, and answer it in three short parts:
1. What works: name one specific choice in the post that would help their students, and say why.
2. What worries you: point to one place where a learner in a different mode, especially the asynchronous one, could be left out, and suggest a fix.
3. What you would borrow: one idea you will take into your own course, and how you would adapt it.Post your own contribution as text in the message field rather than as an attachment, so that colleagues can read it without downloading. This is a practice task and it is not graded; the programme team reads every thread and replies where a discussion stalls
