How the programme works

Four things to know before you start
Learn in short steps, at your own pace

Each lesson is six to ten steps: a video or audio briefing, readings with interactive checks, a task, a discussion and a knowledge check. Nothing is timed, and the site remembers where you left off on any device.

Do, rather than only read

Every module has AI-supported tools that work inside this site on your own course: a readiness check, an activity redesign, a resource audit, an evaluation plan, a rewritten message. You type; the assistant works only with what you gave it.

Talk to colleagues who teach differently

One discussion topic per lesson. Post your work as text, read one colleague whose context is not like yours, and reply with three questions: what works, what worries you, what you would borrow.

Take it back to your course

Everything you write, every tool output and every self-assessment is gathered in your portfolio, one document you can save as a PDF. Pass the knowledge checks in all eight modules and the certificate is issued to your account.

Three ways to travel

The orientation lesson helps you choose
01The full route

Modules 1 to 8 in order, about 45 hours. For anyone new to HyFlex or building a course from scratch. Three hours a week takes a term; five takes about nine weeks.

02The targeted route

Two or three modules chosen from a short self-assessment, 12 to 18 hours. For teachers already running hybrid courses who know where it hurts.

03The tool route

Every AI tool in the programme, one sitting each, about 8 hours. For teachers who want something usable this week: a readiness check, an activity redesign, an evaluation plan, an improvement plan.

Built for every way of attending

The programme practises what it teaches
Accessibility

Captions on every video, a downloadable transcript for every audio, a full text alternative for every image, text size and contrast controls on every page, and everything reachable from the keyboard. If something does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.

Who made it

The programme was developed by HyComm, “Designing an AI-Enriched HyFlex Learning Community for Higher Education Teachers”, an Erasmus+ KA220-HED cooperation partnership of higher education institutions across Europe (project 2024-1-NO01-KA220-HED-000251124). Content is co-authored by the partners and published as open educational material.

Where to ask

The Community forums are open to every participant. Start in Start Here, where the programme team reads every post.

Thirty minutes to get oriented

The orientation lesson shows you how a lesson works, saves your teaching context so every tool opens ready, and helps you choose a route and a weekly rhythm you can keep.
