KeymasterThis topic belongs to Lesson 3. You chose a topic and one clear learning objective from a course you teach, defined the purpose of a chatbot (clarifying content, guiding inquiry, stimulating reflection, preparing for a debate, role-playing a stakeholder, or explaining assessment tasks), listed three to five student inputs, and drafted a sample dialogue flow.
Post here, as text: the learning objective; the purpose of the chatbot; the student inputs; the dialogue flow for two or three of them, including at least one question from the bot that encourages the student to reflect or continue; and your reflection on its role: what kind of interaction it encourages, how it supports HyFlex learning (especially asynchronous or remote students), what its limitations are, and whether you would use it as a standalone tool or as part of a broader learning activity. If you made the reflection as an infographic, add its link.
Then read a colleague’s chatbot and comment on it.
How to reply so that it is useful
Read at least one other post before you write your own, and answer it in three short parts:
1. What works: name one specific choice in the post that would help their students, and say why.
2. What worries you: point to one place where a learner in a different mode, especially the asynchronous one, could be left out, and suggest a fix.
3. What you would borrow: one idea you will take into your own course, and how you would adapt it.Post your own contribution as text in the message field rather than as an attachment, so that colleagues can read it without downloading. This is a practice task and it is not graded; the programme team reads every thread and replies where a discussion stalls.
