Around 25 university teachers from various disciplines across different faculties at the University of Bergen (UiB) are participating in a four-month pilot course delivered in HyFlex mode as part of an innovative teaching project.
The HyFlex approach allows for flexible participation: some teachers attend in person, others join online, and some engage asynchronously, accommodating diverse schedules and learning preferences.
The course is being delivered at Media City Bergen by Rob Gray and Kenan Dikilitas. Each month of the pilot focuses on a different theme or module, allowing participants to gradually integrate flexible teaching strategies and digital tools into their own courses.
Early feedback from participants highlights the value of flexible participation and the practical applicability of the course content, with the pilot expected to provide insights that will inform broader implementation across the university.
