Each month, the TeLEd Monthly Events series highlights inspiring voices in the field of teaching and learning in higher education.

Hosted by Robert Gray from the Program for University Pedagogy at the University of Bergen, on March 26, 2025, the series featured Prof. Dr.  Hakan Aydin from Özyeğin University, one of the partners of the HyComm project. Prof. Dr. Aydin presented his talk titled “Instructional Modalities and Models during the Rise of Artificial Intelligence.”

He discussed with best practices and examples how the emerging and growing presence of AI is transforming instructional design, challenging traditional teaching formats, and offering new possibilities for adaptive, personalized, and data-informed learning environments.
